I'm Back.... and I Have Makeup!

I know, I know. It's been a really long time since my last blog. So where have I been you may ask? It was my last few weeks of my sophomore year of college, so I needed to kick it into high gear and worry solely on my school work. Now that I'm done and officially have my associates I'm back! I'm very pleased to say that I ended my year with all A's and will be moving in August to attend a university!
Anyway, lets jump right into what my post is really about, which is makeup! I'm going to show my go to eyeshadow using Naked 3 Eyeshadow Palette.

Firstly, I would like to show you what the palette looks like. I think it has such beautiful shades of pink and browns.

Forewarning, I'm wearing no makeup in the photos!

I'm also working on buying a real camera for better quality photos, which I'm really excited about! I'm still testing out how I want to do tutorials and my photos, so bear with me!

Okay, enough of my jabbering. Lets get started!!
  • I start by applying one of the samples that came with my Naked 3 palette.  It's the eyeshadow primer and I swear a little bit goes a long way, so these have been lasting me forever.
  • Secondly, I put Buzz on my lid. I use a nice flat brush by Icing, which I love because it's perfect for applying onto lid! My eyes are really hovered, so when I apply to my lid it looks like I went into my crease when I open my eyes, if that makes sense. It's really weird, but I like to play my eyeshadow a little higher to give an illusion that me eyes aren't so hovered and it works!

  • Now I add the color Nooner to my crease to add more definition. I use the fluffy side from my Naked 2 palette brush.

  • Now I take the color Factory and add that onto my outer corner with a fine point brush from Icing. This darkens it up a little and adds even more definition.
  • Next, I blend!! I take a blending brush and just make sure it's all blended and there's no harshness to it. I'll provide a photo of the brush, but I have no idea who it's by since the named rubbed off.

  • I then take Strange and put it under my brows to highlight with a brush from Elf. I also put Dust in my inner corner to brighten my eyes with a very tiny brush from Bare Essentials. Then I added a little eyeliner and I was done!

Here's the final look! I finished up my makeup, expect for my lipstick, and actually moved to natural light, so this is what the eyeshadow actually looks like! I have no idea why I didn't move to it for every photo to make them easier to see, but it's a beautiful look. If you try it tag me so I can see it!

How do you all feel about the Naked 3 palette and this look?
