Get Natural Looking Curls... Without Using Heat!!

Hello ladies!
I've always told myself I would look so good with big curly hair and even thought about getting a perm. So, if you're anything like me and want to try curly hair, but don't have to time to sit there with your curler or want to ruin your hair with a perm then this is for you! The results were amazing, but I've come to realize my natural hair is my natural hair for a reason!

So, a little background on my hair. It's naturally straight and really really thick! It just waves where I put my hair behind my ear. Here's a picture:

To complete the curly look you're going to need the following:

  • Gel
  • Brush
  • Bobby Pins
You're going to take medium strands of your hair, spray on some gel, brush it through so it's not crusty, and start to twist it really tightly. Just twirl it close to your roots.

Once you do that start to wrap it into a knot so it looks like this...

Just slip in two bobby pins to hold it together and go to sleep! You can use as thick or thin of strands of hair to twist as you'd like depending on the curls you want. I used pretty thin strands so I have a ton little knots.
Now go to sleep! When you wake up take out the bobby pins and you'll have weird curls just separate them using your fingers and it'll be good! The curls are really touchable and fun!

My hair looks like it really is naturally curly and they look great! I believe this method is called bantu knots. Tell me how this worked on you!
