Updated Contour Routine

"Change is hard at first, messy in the middle, & gorgeous in the end"

Okay, so obviously this quote applies to all aspects of life, but in particular this described my change in my contour routine. I finally went out and bought the Anastasia Contour Cream Kit and I kinda like it I'm totally obsessed. The consistency is great and blends really easily. I find that if a product is too thick it tends to crease under my eyes, but I don't have a that problem with Anastasia. On the contrary, if the product is too creamy then it will slide around, which is clearly not what we're going for.

So, lets dive into it shall we?

I applied my primer, foundation, and eyeshadow before starting*

Firstly, I take the shade "banana" and I apply this with my finder under my eyes in a triangular shape, bridge of my nose, upside down triangle on my forehead, under my jaw line, cupids bow, and my chin.

Next, I applied "Soft Sculpt."

With this color I carved my nose, put dots on my forehead due to my forehead being small I don't want to make it look overly tiny, my cheek bones, & a half circle on my chin. This helps the chin appear tinier, rounder, and makes your lips look fuller.

Now I take a damp beauty blender and blend out the highlight, except for on my nose. I always leave my nose to do last, because the highlight and contour are so close together.

Finallllllllly, blend that contour!! I use an angled crush by Urban Decay for my contour, but with a small angled brush, that I don't know who it's by or how I got it, I blend my nose, beauty blend the highlight on my nose, and anywhere that doesn't look as blended as it should.

I finished my makeup, which by the way is not my everyday makeup! I only get this decked out for special occasions!

Have you guys tried Anastasia Cream Contour?!

xx,

Lauren-lee
